All members and friends of Apostles are invited to attend the quarterly congregational Open Forum on Sunday, January 8 beginning at 9 AM (in place of Adult Bible Hour). At that time we will discuss our ministry plans for the spring and our current financial situation. Please, come and learn about the upcoming plans in worship, outreach, education and fellowship at Apostles and seek a place to participate in our blessed ministry!
Apostles’ Quarterly Voter’s Meeting is Tuesday, January 10 at 7 PM! All confirmed voters, males 18 and older, are encouraged to attend this meeting as decisions are made on behalf of the congregation for the purpose of advancing our ministry plans. Topics will be our future ministry plans and our current financial situation. Please participate in this important responsibility for Apostles and for the benefit of the Lord’s Kingdom!
Our congregation has been blessed since our first service in 2000. In his grace, the Lord has helped us grow in faith and fellowship with more people in our community. For this we give thanks daily! As our congregation looks to the future, the Steering Committee is seeking your input in a special Ministry Planning Forum at 11:15 AM on Sunday, January 29! All members and friends are invited to this event! The purpose of the Open Forum has a few main topics:
- Share the financial needs/opportunities of the congregation currently and in the future
- Discuss the prospects of pursuing the addition of a gym to our facility
- Brainstorm ministry possibilities in the short-term and long-term to get the Word of Jesus out to more people
This forum will be limited to 15 minutes per topic, so we will try to gather input in a manageable amount of time. There will be supervision for children (with refreshments) provided at church during the Open Forum. We are at an important juncture in the life of Apostles; please be a part of our future planning. Our REAL Life youth group invites everyone to an ice skating outing on Sunday, January 8! This outing is open to all of the Apostles family; students are encouraged to invite their friends! Our group will assemble for open skate at Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville (near the corner of Wentzville Parkway and Highway 61) from 1-3 PM. Cost is $5 for all ages, which includes ice time and skate rental. Concessions are available for an additional cost. If you have questions, please contact Pastor.
